Police torture... By Rehan

14 February, 2013

Torture has become a norm in our society. Just recently a poor labourer died in police custody due to severe torture during investigation. Eight police officials were involved in this heinous crime, who later bribed the widow of the labourer to keep her mouth shut.

Of all the officers, the ASP of the station was part of the team that killed the prisoner. An institution responsible for maintaining law and order and protecting the lives of others is involved in murder and criminal activities. This is why Pakistanis don't trust their police. The police department should take strict action against these murderers to set an example for the rest of the police officers.
