LASHKARGAH: Taliban killed a local police commander in Musa Qala district of Helmand province yesterday's evening, sources said Tuesday.

The local police commander, Abdul Khaliq, was carrying food stuff when ambushed and killed by Taliban in Yatemcha area of Musa Qala district, security sources told AIP.

He said Taliban also seized a telescope, wireless and arms of the local police commander. Taliban spokesman Qari Muhammad Yousaf Ahmadi claimed responsibility for the attack.
