Pledge to continue liberation struggle reaffirmed

Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, liberation leader, Javed Ahmad Mir has said that the Kashmiris have offered supreme sacrifices of their lives for securing their right to self-determination and will continue to offer until they achieve this right of deciding their future by themselves. Javed Ahmad Mir was addressing telephonically a gathering at a photo-exhibition in Peshawar. The exhibition was organised to depict atrocities perpetrated by Indian troops and police personnel on the people of occupied Kashmir. Mir said that the Kashmiris were demanding the fulfilment of promises and commitments made to them by the international community from time to time regarding their right of self-determination. He said that the Kashmiri people were peacefully struggling to get rid of Indian bondage. On Shopian tragedy, Javed Mir appealed to the international human rights organizations to exert pressure on New Delhi to bring the perpetrators of the incident to justice without further delay. End.
