Phantom bills... By Hanif

31 October, 2012

I applied for a PTCL phone connection on April 30, 2010 for my residence. In 'response' to my application, the phone connection was never installed. However, the 'efficient' PTCL department has regularly been sending me a phone bill despite the fact that I have no connection! In addition to these bills, PTCL has served me with a notice to clear outstanding arrears or else legal action may be initiated against me.

I suggest PTCL reconcile its records and rectify them. I have thrice written to PTCL in Gulistan-e-Jauhar telling them that the phone connection was never installed at my residence but still I am repeatedly getting phone bills. I deem it appropriate to inform PTCL to stop sending me phone bills for a connection that does not exist and that they reconcile their records accordingly.
