Peshawar police foils terror bid

PESHAWAR: Local police foiled a terrorist bid on Friday when it seized a bomb which was placed in a cooking oil container.

According to details, the Bhana Marri Police, during a routine patrolling in its jurisdiction, found a suspected ghee container by the roadside.

The Bomb Disposal Squad was called immediately, which defused the bomb weighing 5kg. Police said that terrorists wanted to target protest rallies against the blasphemous film.
