Pakistanis to get warm welcome in UK
10 July, 2012
LONDON: Pakistanis will get a warm welcome at the UK airports after a new bill being tabled in the UK House of Commons gets approved, our sources has learnt. Visitors to Britain would be met with Union Jack Flags and portraits of the British Queen in a show of patriotism. British MPs in a bill being tabled this week will demand that the UK airports' arrival halls would be decked in red, white and blue in a fight against the EU-dominated "bland bureaucracy". The scandal-hit UK Border Agency would be renamed Her Majesty's Border Police. The bill is a brainchild of Conservative MP Andrew Rosindell and has cross-party support. Under the plans, Britons and Pakistanis along with other Commonwealth countries' nationals would get a special lane at passport control. Currently, there are two queues – one for EU travellers and the other for the rest. Rosindell said the changes would help restore the UK Border Agency's reputation after a series of fiascos. End.
