Pakistanis in Kuwait Jail living under inhumane conditions

PARACHINAR: As many as 350 Pakistanis, detained in Kuwait's Central Jail are living under inhumane conditions for several years and are suffering from various ailments. According to disclosures made by relatives of Pakistani prisoners in Kuwait, the prisoners are being treated like animals and are deprived of food, health care, clothes and other basic amenities. Several prisoners have lost their eyesight and are also suffering from various ailments due to malnutrition. The Pakistani consulate in Kuwait is also oblivious to the sufferings of the prisoners, while the prisoners belonging from other countries are provided with basic items such as clothing, soap, towels and other items, the relatives complained. The leaders of PPP and MQM FATA chapter Hamid Hori, Dr Waladat Ali and incharge human right commission district core Sabar Bangash requested the concerned authorities and human rights organizations to take note of the situation and help the Pakistani prisoners.
