Pakistani cadet wins sword of honour at Royal Military Academy

14 August, 2013

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Army's Corporal Cadet Asad Mushtaq has achieved the rare distinction of winning the overseas Sword of Honour from Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

Cadet Mushtaq was successfully commissioned on August 9 and received the sword from the Countess of Essex on the day of the parade. He attributed his success to the training he received at the Pakistan Military Academy, Kakul and his parents' prayers.

He dedicated his sword to all the martyrs and troops of the Pakistan Army fighting against terrorism. By doing so he has carried forward the baton of success and high standards displayed by Pakistani cadets at Sandhurst, says a press release issued from London.
