Pakistan will continue support to Kashmir cause: PM Ashraf

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf reiterated Pakistan's commitment to extend moral and diplomatic support to the people of Kashmir in their just struggle for the right of self-determination. Raja said this while talking to former Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) prime minister Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry at the Prime Minister's House on Saturday. Mehmood thanked the government of Pakistan for its continuous support to Kashmir cause. The prime minister also appreciated Mehmood for his services for the cause of Kashmir. Mehmood also apprised the prime minister about the ongoing development projects in AJK. He said that the development projects initiated by the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) government in AJK would help to increase the living standards of the local people. Mehmood also praised the prime minister about the work of Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority (ERRA) in the earthquake-hit areas of the AJK. The prime minister said that the success of PPP in AJK owed much to the endeavours of Mehmood. Raja also commended Mehmood's efforts for strengthening PPP in AJK. End.
