He stated that peace in the region was linked to peace in Afghanistan.

He said the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project was a monument of this century, which would change the fate of the region and that Pakistan was keen to include all its neighbouring countries in the road to progress.

Referring to the Kashmir issue, the president said the sacrifices rendered by people in Held Kashmir had given fresh impetus to the freedom struggle. He said that Kashmir issue should be resolved in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations.

He said Cadet College Hasan Abdal was playing an important role in imparting quality education and training to the determined youth for the defence and service of the motherland.
