PTI's peace march... By Maliha

According to Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan, the PTI will stage a peace march towards South Waziristan on October 8, 2012 with several foreign delegations and media persons in tow.

It is very surprising that Mr Khan has announced his PTI march to South Waziristan whereas the most devastation due to consistent drone attacks can currently be witnessed in North Waziristan. As per my information, North Waziristan has been the site of more than 200 drone attacks until now whereas South Waziristan has only been targeted 76 times. I really do not understand why Mr Khan has chosen an area of less damage and fatality as his public publicity forum.

Maliha, there is at least one Pakistani politician with the moral courage to go to Waziristan with foriegn nationals, never mind north or south; he has at the very least, attempted to bring an international focus to the problem. The problem is not Imran visiting north or south waziristan; the problem is the retrograde mindset of people of your kind; unwilling and incapable of rising above pettiness, peddling worthless critisism.
