ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif on Sunday said the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) rulers did not even know the basics of governing a country.
Addressing a seminar organised by his party, he rejected the privileges announced in the federal budget for the sitting president and prime minister and their predecessors. "I will not take these privileges. Give it to the poor masses of the country," Nawaz said while addressing his party workers.
The PML-N chief said the 'Asian Tiger Vision' for the country, launched by his party when it was in power, would be implemented when they come to power. Recalling the achievements of his governments in the past, Nawaz said Pakistan had been making huge strides in various sectors, particularly in economy.
End.
