PPP-PML-Q alliance to continue: Gilani

ISLAMABAD: PML (Q) president, Ch. Shujjat Hussain, called on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani at Prime Minister's House on Wednesday and discussed present political situation in the country.

The Prime Minister took Ch. Shujjat Hussain into confidence about the proposed 20th constitutional amendment, a PM office's statement said.

The Prime Minister said that the political alliance with PML (Q) would continue in future aimed at strengthening the democracy and federation.

PML (Q) president Ch. Shujjat Hussain assured the Prime Minister that his party would extend full support to the government as one of the coalition partners committed to resolve all important issues of National importance with consultation and consensus.

Minister for Religious Affairs, Syed khursheed Shah and Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo were also present during the meeting.
