POL, CNG prices decrease

ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Petroleum has approved a decrease in the prices of petroleum products. As per the decision, which is effective from today, price of kerosene oil has been slashed by Rs 0.61, light diesel by Rs 0.25, petrol by Rs 2.32 and diesel by Rs 0.33 per litre. Ministry of Petroleum sources said that an approval has also been given for an average cut of Rs 2 per kilogramme in CNG prices. The price for region-I has been reduced by Rs 2.12 per kilogramme and in region-II by Rs 1.94 per kilogramme. The new price of petrol is Rs 101.8, diesel 113.29, kerosene oil Rs 103.26, light diesel Rs 97.68 per litre, respectively. The Petroleum Ministry has directed all companies to give full relief to the masses after cut in prices of petroleum products. End.
