PML-Q begins filling party positions in Punjab

LAHORE: As part of election preparation, Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) has begun a campaign to fill vacant party positions at district level across the province. PML-Q senior central leader and Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi directed PML-Q Punjab leadership to give important positions to those workers who had stood with the party in difficult times. "It will be an acknowledgement of their services for the party," he said. Punjab PML-Q General Secretary Chaudhry Zaheeruddin issued notifications of the appointment of Chaudhry Maqsood Gujjar as PP-143 Lahore president, Safdar Awan as Bhakkar general secretary, Chaudhry Sarfraz Rasheed as Punjab executive body member, Muhammad Zubair as Bhakkar office secretary, Chaudhry Muhammad Ashraf as Pakpattan vice president, Mirza Adeel Baig as Sheikhupura youth wing president and Muhammad Usman as Bhakkar secretary coordination. While issuing notifications, Zaheeruddin said PML-Q was a party of workers and wanted to participate in the upcoming general elections with their best team. "PML-Q, after coming to power, will restart the process of development in Punjab, which was stopped after their government," he said. End.
