PML-N to withdraw ticket of Maryam Nawaz

ISLAMABAD: Muslim league-N submitted the application to with draw the ticket of Maryam Nawaz. According to our resources, PML-N’s leader Parvez Malik’s son and candidate Ali Parvez Malik who is contesting on an open seat from NA-127, have written the application to the returning officer for withdrawal of Maryam’s ticket. It was mentioned in the application that Maryam’s ticket be withdrawn so that he could contest the election from NA-127 by submitting the other ticket by his name.
It must be noted that Maryam Nawaz has been charged by the court with seven years in jail with regards to Avenfield reference case, and as per law a convict cannot run for office.
