PML-N to field strong candidates in polls: Nawaz

LAHORE: PML-N president Mian Nawaz Sharif has said his party will field strong candidates in upcoming general elections.

He was talking to former MNA from Kot Addoo and Muzaffargarh and senator Mian Ghulam Abbas Qureshi, former senator Maj (Retd) Amjid Abbas and Mian Arshid Abbas Qureshi at his residence Raiwind Jati Umra Thursday.

Overall political situation of the country and general election related matters came under the discussion during the meeting.

Mian Nawaz Sharif held if voted to power PML-N would sort out the problems facing the people at their doorstep.

PML-N has come up with unflinching commitment and workable program to resolve the problems of the people. "We are working round the clock to address the economic woes of common man. Ahead of general elections, we have evolved agenda to steer the nation out of crisis", he announced. In line with this agenda PML-N manifesto will be revolutionary, he added. "We are determined to purge the country of darkness, he remarked.

Nawaz Sharif also congratulated newly elected leadership of Chinese communist party.
