ISLAMABAD: Blasting the government for lacking a conducive vision, former CM Pervez Elahi has criticized government's policy, which had indebted Pakistan to IMF.
In a statement he criticized the PML-N government for adopting a 'royal' (monarchial) attitude, while appointing all relatives and associates at key posts, failing to provide within its initial 7-month rule; ushering in burdensome poverty, load shedding unemployment and continuing morbidities, at the rate of every month.
The former CM, Punjab cited his earlier 5-year progressive and golden rule, when for the first time ever free education was provided upto matriculation, Rescue 1122 was formed, regulations against child labor formulated , poor, deprived children provided educational opportunities, besides excellent provisions for farmers.
Berating PML-N for lacking vision, he said that Nawaz League worked according to personal, vested interests, and for closing ongoing developmental projects initiated by PML-Q government, giving the impression of a personal vendetta.
Referring to Musharraf trail, he said that nothing would come out of it, and he would simply manage to go abroad.
