PML-N govt puts country in trouble: Qureshi

20 January, 2014

KARACHI: Senior PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Sunday said non-serious policy of the PML-N led government has put the people and political leadership into confusion.

Speaking to media persons after attending a meeting of PTI's organizing committee, the PTI leader condemned Taliban for carrying out a bomb attack on security forces in Bannu.

Qureshi said that his party strongly condemned today's attack on security forces. "If Taliban have claimed responsibility for the attack, we condemn them," he said.

The government, he said, should take political parties into confidence about the progress made on peace talks. "A non-serious policy of the government has put the people and political leadership into confusion," he remarked.

To a question, Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that PTI doesn't support imposing one agenda on gunpoint.

End.
