Sahibzada Hamid Raza alleged that banned organizations are freely conducting meetings and conventions in the country; however, patriotic organizations are not allowed to do so.

The SIC chief said that Punjab and the federal governments are promoting terrorism in the country. He said if the government will stop today's (Sunday) protest conference outside the parliament then the govt will responsible of any act.

To a question, Maulana Amin Shahidi and Faisal Raza Abidi strongly condemned the assignation of Mufti Muneeb Ma'uai.

They said that it was government's responsibility to implement a proposed policy on religious harmony. The representatives of religious parties said that the state has failed completely. The government, they said, was befooling people in the name of talks with Taliban.

"Time has come that the government should establish its writ against terrorists," they added.
