PM Nawaz approves summary for Pesco handover to KP govt

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif has approved a summary to hand over control of the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.

The Ministry of Water and Power had sent a summary to the prime minister in this regard.According to the spokesman for the Prime Minister House, the ministry will write a letter to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervaiz Khattak to inform him about the decision.

He added that the ministry will also make a reference to the 18th constitutional amendment in its letter to the KP chief minister as this amendment allows provinces to look into administrative matters. grave nature had been almost completed.
