PHD modifies criteria for admissions to nursing courses

LAHORE: Punjab Health Department (PHD) has modified the revised criteria for admission in diploma in General Nursing, Lady Health Visitors' courses and Post Basic Nursing Disciplines (Specialisation) with immediate effect and a notification was issued on Tuesday in this regard.

The spokesman of Health Department informed that upper age limit for admission in diploma courses in General Nursing and Lady Health Visitors will be up to 25 years instead of 20 years while, widow and divorced candidates will be 35 years instead of 30 years.

Similarly, the age limit for admission in nursing specialisation courses will be 50 years instead of 45 years. Other criteria as circulated earlier will remain the same, the spokesperson added.
