Operation in Farah, Herat

HERAT: Operation against the armed opponents has been launched in Herat, Farah and Badghis provinces, officials said Friday. The operation launched in Herat, Farah and Badghis provinces yesterday would last for few days, a high-ranking ANA in western Afghanistan, Colonel Nizamuddin Khanjar told the AIP. He said two armed opponents involved in multiple bombings had been arrested in the operation so far, adding six IEDs were defused in Badghis province. End.
