Only in Pakistan... By Shahryar

Recent social research has shown that human beings have a tendency to copy one another. It is basically because when we observe others doing something, especially in a new situation or location, we copy them to avoid any embarrassing situation. This is the reason why in the Islamic religion, out Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) not only advised the Muslims, but he also acted appropriately in different situations to leave perfect examples for the world. As a Muslim nation it should be obvious that our leaders and national heroes, the people everyone looks up to, should try to follow all rules.
Unfortunately we have lost all our principles. Only in Pakistan, dual nationals can become leaders and heads of government organisations. Only in Pakistan, illegal cars can be made legal through national amnesty schemes. Only in Pakistan do our national leaders and heroes forget to pay taxes or cheat on their taxes. And only 0.5 percent of the population pays any tax. Only in Pakistan would the Prime Minister announce a special package to convert your black money into white money. Only in Pakistan, companies avoid paying taxes by showing losses for decades. Only in Pakistan, electricity shortages can be created by slowing down fuel supplies to help profiteers profit from generator sales.
We have to change this. Therefore I believe that it is not okay for a leader of JI to not be registered for tax or have a NTN. It should be compulsory for all leaders to be only nationals of Pakistan and to be registered for tax and paying proper taxes.
In the USA, Al Capone, a very famous and dangerous gangster, was arrested on tax evasion charges in 1931. Why cannot leaders of the parliament that do not pay taxes be arrested on tax evasion charges? Why does Federal Beaureu of Revenue apologise for the publishing of tax data of parliamentarians? Especially if done by the Election Commission of Pakistan and that too according to the rules?
