Noor Alam richest, Dasti poorest MNA

ISLAMABAD: Noor Alam Khan was the richest member of the now-dissolved National assembly with Rs 32 billion wealth and assets while Jamshaid Dasti the poorest with no assets and wealth, according to a report on wealth and assets of the members of the National Assembly released by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday.

According to the report, net value of the assets of Haji Ghulam Ahmed Bilour stands at Rs 39,487 million; Noor Alam Khan, Rs 32 billion; Asfandyar Wali Khan, Rs 11.54 million in Pakistan and Dirham 72,000 shares in UAE businesses; Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao, Rs 43 million; Nighat Aftab Sherpao, Rs 70.706 million; Sardar Mehtab Khan, Rs 16.214 million; Faisal Karim Kundi, Rs 1.2 million; Mulana Fazlur Rehman, Rs 7.89 million; Humayun Saifullah Khan, Rs 26.960 million; Begum Zeb Humayun Saifullah Khan, Rs 131 million; Amir Muqam, Rs 163.6 million; Hameedullah Jan Afridi, Rs 7.67 million personal and Rs 162 million joint assets with family; Anjum Aqil Khan, Rs 470.279 million; Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Rs 46 million; Shahid Khakan Abbasi, Rs 2.307 billion; Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Rs 212.75 million; Ch Nisar Ali Khan, 13 plots, 1 residence, 1 farmhouse, 682 kanal agricultural land, one tractor, 9.5 million in cash and two vehicles; Hanif Abbasi, Rs 34.719 million; Ch Pervaiz Ellahi, Rs 202.684 million assets and 68.809 million in cash and shares; Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat, Rs 55.25 million; Ch Wajahat Hussain, Rs 107.12 million assets and Rs 50 million in stocks and shares; Qamar Zaman Kaira and Nazar Muhammad Gondal, Rs 177.6 million each; Khwaja Asif, Rs 139 million in local assets and investments, $30,343.59 and $7,379.36 in New York accounts, Dirham 99,390 in UAE account, five vehicles worth Rs 10.4 million; Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, Rs 38.984 million; Ehsan Iqbal, Rs 21.15 million; Hamza Shehbaz Sharif, Rs 222.942 million; Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Rs 40 million; Ch Birjes Tahir, Rs 36.670 million; Mian Manzoor Ahmed Watoo, Rs 82.75 million; Syed Ali Musa Gilani, Rs 75.2 million assets, Rs 1.135 million in UK bank account and Rs 2.7 million in local accounts; Syed Abdul Qadir Gilani, Rs 184.715 million; Awais Ahmed Laghari, Rs 136.186 million; Hina Rabbani Khar, Rs 13.373 million; Jamshed Dasti, no assets or wealth, Syed Khursheed Shah, Rs 18 million; Ms Faryal Talpur, Rs 139.559 million; Dr Azra Fazal, Rs 74.368 million; Naveed Qamar, Rs 33.700 million, Fehmida Mirza, Rs 100 million assets and Rs 2.945 million cash and bonds; Sohail Mansoor Khan, Rs 46.44 million; Dr Farooq Sattar, Rs 3.637 million; Lt General (r) Abdul Quadir Baloch, Rs 191.8 million and Kashmala Tariq, Rs 29.8 million.

Pervaiz Rashid the 'poorest' senator

The Election Commission of Pakistan on Thursday issued details of the assets of all senators.

According to the report, Senate Chairman Nayyar Hussain Bokhari has total assets of Rs 37.9 million while his spouse and son own Rs 14. 18 million. PPP's Osman Saifullah Khan has total assets worth Rs 343.61 million while his spouse possesses Rs 241 million. Mushahid Hussain Syed has Rs 55 million besides $18,900 joint account with his wife.

PML-N's Pervaiz Rashid has Rs 1,25,861 in his bank account. PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has Rs 231.57 million in shape of his and wife's assets.

Jehangir Badr's assets are valued at Rs 10.415 million. Baber Awan has total assets of Rs 234.8 million, PML-Q's Kamil Ali Agha Rs 19.6 million, PPP's Senator Aitizaz Ahsan Rs 485.422 million and his wife Rs 460.466 million, Ishaq Dar 153.7 million, Najma Hameed Rs 43.2 million, Ms Nuzhat Sadiq Rs 397.2 million, MQM's Baber Ghuri Rs 137.6 million, PPP's Moula Bakhsh Chandio Rs 19.3 million, PPP's Islamuddin Shaikh Rs 107.99 million, PPP's Faisal Raza Abidi Rs 22.74 million, Dr Asim Hussain Rs 145.1 million, PPP's Raza Rabbani Rs 74.6 million, PPP's Saeed Ghani Rs 13.4 million assets, PPP's Farooq Naek Rs 15 million, Rehman Malik Rs 346.17, Abdul Hafeez Sheikh Rs 162.8 million, MQM's Dr Farogh Naseem Rs 146. 78 million, ANP's Abdul Nabi Bangash Rs 320.2 million, PPP's Sardar Ali Khan Rs 374.5 million, ANP's Baz Mohammad Khan Rs 55.8 million and ANP's Ilyas Bilor has Rs 213.7 million assets.
