No one would be allowed to besiege SJC

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao has said no one would be allowed to besiege Supreme Judicial Council.
According to a private TV channel, the Interior Minister said the threat to besiege Supreme Judicial Council was unconstitutional and illegal. "The government has made foolproof security arrangements of the Apex Court and honorable judges and no one would be allowed to besiege SJC," he added.
Aftab Sherpao said the judges of SJC were performing in accordance with constitution and warned no body would be allowed to hamper their work.
The federal minister denied house arrest of the dysfunctional Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry adding anybody could meet him. He said action against the CJ was according to law and politicking the issue be avoided.
