Nawaz, Mumtaz cannot dent PPP: Pir Mazhar
11 May, 2012
KARACHI: Sindh Senior Minister Pir Mazharul Haq has said that Pakistan People's Party (PPP) is a federal party with deep roots in all the provinces of the country.
He was talking to various delegations in his office here on Thursday.
Haq, who is also Sindh PPP Parliamentary Party leader, said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Mian Nawaz Sharif and head of Sindh National Front Mumtaz Bhutto couldn't dent the PPP. He was of the view that Mumtaz was pursuing the policy of 'duplicity'.
The minister said Mumtaz had raised the slogan of confederation and parted ways with the PPP. He stated that with the PML-N, Mumtaz has now become supporter of politics of federation.
End.
