LAHORE: Veteran Indian actor Naseeruddin Shah along with his family Wednesday arrived in Lahore with the message of peace and friendship.

Talking to media outside the Allama Iqbal International Airport, Naseeruddin Shah said: "Why would I come to Pakistan if I had no "Aman ki Asha" (desire for peace)?" .

He said that he would stay in Pakistan for a week and would perform in a program scheduled to be held in Al Hamrah Hall, Lahore on December 1 and 2.

The Indian actor said that Pakistanis have always given him loads of love and he never felt any kind of fear while staying in Pakistan.

End.
