NGO driver shot injured in Khuzdar

QUETTA: A driver of an NGO was injured on Tuesday after unidentified people opened fire on the vehicle he was driving in Khuzdar District.

According to police, the Balochistan Rural Support Programme's vehicle was heading towards Khuzdar city from Wadh. When it reached near the Kakaheer area the assailants opened fire on it. The driver, Amanullah, was injured. The assailants fled from the scene.

Police rushed to the scene and shifted the driver to the Civil Hospital. A hospital source said that the injured had been shot in head and was in critical condition. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
