KABUL: A soldier of NATO's International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) died in a non-battle related incident in eastern Afghanistan on Thursday, the alliance said.

The ISAF soldier—whose nationality was not disclosed—"died as a result of a non-battle related injury", ISAF announced in a brief statement.

This brings to 359 the number of foreign troops killed in Afghanistan so far this year.

End.
