NATO blockage brings drone strikes numbers down: Qureshi

13 February, 2014

ISLAMABAD: Senior PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi has claimed that missile strikes have declined owing to continued blockage of NATO supply lines in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

Talking to media persons here on Wednesday, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said the NATO supply blockage is yielding positive results, as the US policy on missile strikes appears to be changing.

He said that the US was also under pressure from the NATO countries over the predator strikes in Pakistan.

The PTI leader said he would ask the PTI to review its decision on NATO supply blockage. But he said it depends upon the PTI's core committee whether or not it opens the key route for NATO supplies.

End.
