NAB to conduct inquiry against ex-MPA, ex-tehsil nazim

ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Executive Board, in its meeting held on Monday presided over by NAB Chairman Admiral (r) Fasih Bokhari, decided to conduct compliant verification against ex-MPA Naeemullah Shahani and ex-tehsil nazim of Bhakkar, Aleemullah Shahani. According to NAB statement issued, the accused were alleged to have manipulated transfer of 46 plots in Bhakkar city in the name of their servants, worth Rs 60 million, accumulating assets disproportionate to their legal means of income. The NAB Executive Board also decided to file a supplementary reference against Nisar Hussain Shah, former director general (livestock). The accused was alleged to have accumulated assets beyond his sources of income and a reference worth Rs 28.8 million (approx) was filed in the accountability court in December 2009. The value of the property is estimated at Rs 11.94 million. End.
