ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has again submitted the references against ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif and his family with the accountability court in Islamabad after removing objections raised by the registrar office.

The NAB has filed additional documents pertaining to London flats along with the reference filed under Section 18-G of the NAB Ordinance, 1999. The NAB references are based on the report of the six-member joint investigation team (JIT) which probed the Panama Papers case as per the orders of the Supreme Court. The registrar office had raised objections over the references filed by NAB in the wake of SC’s July 28 verdict for not attaching copies of some necessary documents. The registrar office had asked NAB to remove the objections and re-file the references.
