Musharraf likely to be discharged within next two days

RAWALPINDI: Pervez Musharraf is likely to be sent home after being discharged from AFIC while the medical report, ordered to be submitted in court, couldn't be prepared as yet, media quoting sources reported on Thursday.
Special court hearing high treason case against former military dictator has ordered to form medical board and to present its report regarding Musharraf's sickness before the bench today (Friday).
According to reports, the doctors have started consulations over allowing the retired general to shift from hospital to his home while the medical board is reviewing all his reports. It is expected that the former president will be discharged within next two days, the sources added.
The sources said that reports over Musharraf's brain and heart condition were not cleared as yet. During the last proceedings, Musharraf's counsel in treason case said justice cannot be prevailed until the tribunal was established under the light of law.
A three-member bench of special court headed by Justice Faisal Arab hearing the allegations of treason levelled against former president Pervez Musharraf on Monday.
