07 September, 2013

ISLAMABAD: The special team of NAB (Rawalpindi) headed by Director General Col (retd) Subah Sadiq Malik arrested Mufti Ihsan ul Haq, Chief Exective M/S Fiazi group of industries Pvt Ltd, involved in a huge money scam.

Mufti Ihsan Ul haq was required in Modaraba (Islamic investment system) scam as he formulated a company and lured innocent people by enhancing rates of interest for which he was not authorised. During the investigation it was revealed that apparently thousands of people have been defrauded by the accused and his accomplices.

It is pertinent to mention that the accused entered into 'voluntary return' with NAB Rawalpindi to pay back the looted money, but he failed to do so. Now the looted money will be recovered from the accused and will accordingly be disbursed to the affectees after proper verification. A large number of claimants submitted their claims to NAB for remedial action.
