Mirwaiz shocked over Qazi Hussain Ahmed's death

07 January, 2013

Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC), Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has expressed grief over the death of the former Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Qazi Hussain Ahmad, who passed away in Islamabad, last night.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq in a statement issued in Srinagar said that Qazi Hussain Ahmad always supported the Kashmir cause. He also hailed the political and religious contribution and services of the deceased, adding that his death had deprived Pakistan, in particular, and the Muslim Ummah, in general, of a great personality.

The Mirwaiz prayed Allah Almighty to rest Qazi Hussain Ahmed in eternal peace and give courage to the bereaved family member to bear the great loss with patience.

End.
