Mirwaiz announces shutdown on July 13 in IHK

SRINAGAR: The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umer Farooq, has called for a shutdown on July 13, saying that the APHC would observer Kashmir's Martyrs' Day with a procession from Naqshband Sahib to Mazaar-e-Shuhada at Eidgah in Srinagar. The Mirwaiz made the announcement on the 48th Foundation Day of his party, Awami Action Committee. "Kashmir will observe a complete shutdown on July 13, and we will take out the march to reaffirm our commitment to the mission of the martyrs right from 1931 to the present day," he said. End.
