Medium intensity quake jolt parts of Sindh, Balochistan

KARACHI: An earthquake of medium intensity jolted coastal areas of Sindh and Balochistan on Monday but no loss of life or property was reported.

Geological wing of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said that tremors of 5.2-magnitude on Richter scale were felt in coastal areas of Sindh, including Karachi, and parts of Balochistan.

The Met Office said that the epicentre of the quake was 137km northwest of Karachi.
