Many forms of child labour... By Ghazal

05 December, 2013

Child labour continues to be a serious problem in our society, yet we all take it for granted and do not speak up against it. Many of us have small boys and girls working for us as domestic servants. There are many different forms of child labour because our country continues to flounder under the harsh price hike and poverty persists. Many children work in agricultural fields, in garages, hotels, the carpet industry, bangle making, the cement industry as well as deep-sea fishing. Many of these forms of labour are not only hazardous to children's health but sometimes also prove to be fatal for many.

Laws exist but only on paper. There must be strict implementation of these laws so as to bring this evil to an end.
