ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Sherry Rehman on Monday underlined that Media is an important pillar of our country adding our top priority is to maintain harmony with it.

While talking to a state run TV, Federal Minister for Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Sherry Rehman said that all out efforts will be made to give liberty to Media so that it can work freely.

Media plays an important role in our society especially to create awareness among masses, Sherry maintained.

Not only Media, she added but also all other Political Parties must cooperate with each other in view to ensure smooth transition to democracy in the country.
