Magnitude 5.4 quake shakes Chitral, Swat

ISLAMABAD: An earthquake of magnitude 5.4 on the Richter scale rocked Chitral, Swat and adjoining districts. The jolts were felt in Chitral, Shanghla, Boner, Ghazar, and Malakand Agency. According to Meteorological Department, the tremors struck the above mentioned northern areas in the wee hours of Monday. The epicentre of the quake was about 207 kilometres deep in the Hindu Kush Mountain Range. End.
