MQM sits on opposition benches in Senate

ISLAMABAD: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) got opposition seats in Senate following the notification issued by Chairman Senate, Nayyer Hussain Bukhari here on Monday. MQM parliamentary leader in the upper house, Senator Tahir Mashadi submitted the application to Chairman Senate for allotting their seats in opposition bench, on which Nayyer Bukhari issued the notification in this regard. MQM has six seats in Senate and after sitting in opposition the strength of government's alliance would be weaken. End.
