03 September, 2013
KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has filed another requisition to call a session of Sindh Assembly to debate on Karachi situation.
MQM leaders submitted the requisition again after removing the reservations, shown by speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani on August 28.
Earlier, speaker Siraj Durrani had rejected the plea, saying the signatures of several MQM provincial parliamentarians on the requisition did not match with the record.
On Monday, MQM removed all the reservations and filed it again before acting speaker Shehla Raza.
Shehla Raza said the plea will be reviewed on Tuesday.
