MQM 9 new members in coordination committee

KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement on Friday inducted nine new members into its coordination committee.

On Wednesday, MQM chief Altaf Hussain sacked the 36-member coordination committee and appointed Qamar Mansoor and Arshad Hussain as heads of the committee in Karachi and London, respectively.

According to an MQM statement issued on Friday, Kaiful Wara, Advocate Arif Khan and Gulfaraz Khan Khattak — for Karachi — and Imbisat Malik, Dr Salim Danish, Dr Ayub Shaikh, Qasim Ali Raza, Mustafa Azizabadi and Izhar Ahmed Khan — for London — have been included as new members in the coordination committee.

It said Mr Hussain also endorsed the new members of the committee.
