Load shedding again... By Zainab

30 December, 2013

The curse of load shedding has started yet again. One would think that it is easier to tolerate the power outages during winters but that is a wrong notion. We are also suffering from gas load shedding and so, when we put on our electric heaters, we hope to warm ourselves against this biting cold. All of a sudden, the electricity goes, leaving us in the icy grip of this winter freeze. We have no light, no heating and no warm water. God help us because no human leader is willing to do so.
