When Quaid-e-Azam became the Governor General of Pakistan, he immediately relinquished his president ship of the Pakistan Muslim League (PML). I am sure it would never have occurred to the Quaid that in his absence from the chair of the PML, he would lose control of the party or there would be any sort of mutiny against him. This is what is called the strength of character and selfless leadership. Only when leaders aim for nation building they fearlessly make difficult decisions. Today, our leaders want to be everything, even if that means losing respect and making a mockery of the law. AYESHA TABASSUM
