Killer of children... By Sonia

09 January, 2013

The measles outbreak in Sindh is one of the most terrifying new developments in the land of constant struggle, i.e. Pakistan. Since the beginning of 2013 more than three dozen people — most of them children — have died due to this viral disease. Measles is fast becoming an epidemic with our little flowers wilting away due to sheer ignorance and negligence.

The government in Sindh has not done nearly enough to prevent this killer of children and many parents are demonstrating just how ignorant they are because they do not bother to get their children vaccinated against the virus. One can only pray for these precious souls as it seems they have been left alone in a world of misery and pain.
