Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Shabbir Ahmed Shah has said that the Kashmiri people are determined to continue their liberation struggle and the day is not far away when they will get rid of Indian bondage.

Shabbir Ahmed Shah addressing a meeting of his party activists in Srinagar, today, said that the forceful protests by the students of Kashmir University during the recent visit of Indian Congress party’s General Secretary, Rahul Gandhi, reflected the aspirations of Kashmiris that they didn’t want to live under Indian rule any more. The APHC leader urged New delhi to take steps for resolving the Kashmir dispute permanently so that durable peace could be ensured in South Asia.

Hurriyet leaders, Aasiya Andrabi and Zamruda Habib in their separate statements strongly denounced the booking of two minor boys under black law, Public Safety Act.

The Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League in its statement expressed serious concern over the deteriorating health of its illegally detained Vice Chairman, Masarrat Aalam Butt in Udhampur jail.

People took to the streets and staged massive protests at Ahlan Bala Kokernag area of Islamabad district against the killing of a woman by Indian police. The protesters told mediamen that a police party raided the house of a civilian and beaten his wife to death.

On the other hand, All India Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawarat, the umbrella body of Indian Muslim organizations, in a statement in New Delhi demanded probe into the unmarked graves discovered in occupied Kashmir to punish the men in uniform responsible for the killing of those buried in these cavities.
