Karachi violence claims another 11 lives

KARACHI: At least 11 more people including a political worker, were killed in separate incidents of firing and violence in different areas of the metropolis. According to details, a 19-year youth, Khalid was shot dead while he was standing outside his house in Sarjani Town. Another man, Imran Haider Naqvi was gunned down by unknown miscreants in Gulbahar. Meantime, two groups entering an armed clash in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, exchanged gunfire, killing Nadeem Magsi on the spot. A tortured human body was recovered near Super Market on Super Highway. In another incident, a shopkeeper was shot to death in Shah Latif Town. A person, Huzaifa was killed in a firing incident in Kemari's Masan Road. Three other people were killed in separate firing incidents near Nazimabad Matric Board Office, Lyari's Miran Naka and Boat Basin. Meantime, gunfire was opened in a wedding ceremony held in Bhains Colony where 15-year Mir Murtaza was killed and a 12-year child Zafar was injured. Sukhan police arrested the man responsible for the firing. End.
