Karachi crossings... By Iqbal

It is amazing that smaller roads in Karachi have pedestrian overhead bridges which are rarely used by people, but busier and wider roads have none.
For example, three or four overhead pedestrian bridges are needed on I I Chundrigar Road, but not a single one is found from Tower to Shaheen Complex. Needless to say, head offices of most banks and institutions are located on both side of this road. The concerned authorities are urged to take notice of this genuine public demand to install or construct overhead bridges on this busy road without delay.
